Wouldn't worry too much on the reliability front unless you have problems with it. With any brand, you get occasional ringers or bad batches/models. Unless you actually have a problem though, don't give it a second thought.

it wasnt mainly for the gps as i have a tomotom wich would only of cost a few quid to get france added to it online. i just wanted to own some fancy doo daa for once

well this is what i thought. i originally looked at reverse parking kits and noticed most of them came with 7" screens. so then i thought why dont i get a 7" screen that has some features built into it like tv and dvd eyc and i can just buy a £20 camera and hook it up to that instead of buying a cheap screen that only works with the camera?
i was also looking at "roof mounted" or "flip down" tv/dvd monitors to put in my surf. i came close to buying a 19" flip down monitor with built in tv/dvd!! but then checked inside the surf and there wasnt anywhere to put it!!.
i almost cried.
so i then looked at the din sized and double din size motorised tv/head units. they pretty much started at £200 and you were very lucky if it even had a dvd player built in or built in ariel for the tv. usually sold seprately.
so for £230 and all the software and bits and bobs built in, i think i got a fcking bargin! lol.
will let everyone know if its anygood once i fit it.
apparently its due to get the 21:53 flight to heathrow tonight! lol

EDIT: but untill then here is a video of it in use by some american chap. i was only going to make an identicle video for people to watch so you may aswell just watch his! lol

and yeah i saw a forum where people said bad things but then i read one that said good things. (?)
i also checked demo videos on youtube and all seemed to be good.
great now you have me worried!
aslong as it works for my road trip to france i dont care! it can then be a xmas girft to one of my brothers!

if they do return/refund you'll have to eat the postage costs, bith ways i'm afraid

i dont buy anything of that nature without first doing loads of research and never buy outside the UK

I would try contacting paypal, try and cancel the payment, maybe tell them it was your son who bought it without your permission, you left the account logged on or he guessed you password?
