My first car was a Vauxhall Victor 2000cc Estate in racing green. Nice big car you can have a lot of fun in the back of an Estate car, and the car could move too. It only cost me £500 of my dad money well spent ha ha ha

First car was a V reg Ford Fiesta 1.3 Ghia - The one with the sport head

The head went on it, which I replaced then two weeks later the engine blew up. Put a new recon' engine in it and had a hose go on the motorway and lunched that engine not long after Had it rebored, piston and rings then sold the bugger.

              Surfs aren't all that bad!

              Some of the others
              MK3 Escort 1.3 - P.O.S
MK2 Golf Gti - 8valve mechanical injection, kept it for 9 years - excellent motor would buy one again
MK4 Golf Gti 1.8 Turbo - good engine, ????e suspension
Audi A4 2.8 Quattro - spent thousands on the suspension and it still pogo'd down the road making me feel sick - traded it for the Surf which has been the best allround vehicle I have ever bought and never ceases to amaze me

BMW E46 325i Sport - Awesome car, v.expensive rubber bands on the wheels Likely to have it as long as the MK2 Gti me thinks!
If life's an uphill struggle then downhill from now on can't be that bad?!

my first was a pale blue 1600 vauxhall viva that i kept for about 6 weeks. then sold it and brought a 1800 vauxhall frenza in bright yellow with a black vinyl roof and wide alloys. sold it to a mate about 4 years later (to finance my first bike)........... he wrote it off about 2 weeks later in a big ding on the M4.

I had the dubious pleasure of a Renault5 GTL as my first wheels, looked and went like S***.
Someone asked me a few weeks ago how many cars i have had as i do change them fairly quickly(something tells me the surf will be a different story), i think the total is around 30 ish cars in 12 years of driving, everything from a mini 1000 to a 5-litre 1968 Ford Mustang.
Into bikes now and went through 5 bikes in 1 year then bought my current bike which i refuse to part with.........ever!!!!!

Mine was a brown Nissan 160J SSS. Cost £100 from one of my mates. Never saw another one and mine ended up on its roof after about six months due to the brakes needing to be pumped about 10 times per second in order to make it stop. It was a fantastic car tho - would love to get my hands on another one, mine was the 2 door version. After that i had a mazda 323 which died quite quickly too. Then i had a gold Volvo 440 (with a rear spoiler - i thought that was soo cool at the time). After that i've driven a load of different company cars (my NHS lease car is currently a Fiat Punto - actually quite a lot of fun to drive around london). Got my surf about a month ago - and it is definately the best car i ever owned!

S reg Morris Marina HLS 1.8TC. In red primer, and mag mounted CB arial on the boot lid.

Quite quick, but wouldn't go round corners very well.
