It seems a bit weird that in a country where they have got the highest rate (or 2nd highest, not sure) of childhood obesity, that they will actually come out with a statement like that! Get the kids off their backsides and outside moving!!! And stop eating crap!!

makes me angery too the fat kid thing
i cook anything from scratch the list is endless
every one love my cooking and its all healthy
but can i learn any of these women around me anything
no if its not TIN/ PACKET/FROZEN/OR BOIL IN THE BAG
they have no idea
and dont start me off on them microwares poo things
i have one god knows why its never used in 6 years of it being there
its use is bannned in this house
eat well if you want to know how to cook anything ask i will know
and iam a man who loves all food

when i was at school 40-35 years ago you had the fat kid boy or girl didn't mater there seemed to be one in each year now its the norm im 49 and about 2to3 stone over wait and just started to diet i use to smoke about three years ago but to be honest i was a lot fitter as a smoker than i am a fat git i now that with smoking you could get cancer but fat affects you day to day and i just cant stand feeling like 5hit anymore so the fat has to go . i realise that at my age i need to look after myself im the only one that can change my health so if i'm f**ked at 60 then its my fault not a virus or bug or any of the other pathetic reasons its down to me . sorry for rambling its the fat you now

I eat what i like, walk the dogs 5 miles once a day (which gets myself out of the house) a few press ups, sit ups, pull ups and then a hot bath or shower.
I weigh the same now (36) as i did at 25.

Go and get a low GI cook book, rather than Atkins you do eat some carbs, as you need them, and shouldn't really cut them out. Watch your food intake as others have said, in terms of no processed mess, no need for fad milkshakes or dumb stuff like that, jacket spuds with tuna, chicken, spinach, avocado - that kind of thing.
Get a cross trainer as this will tone arms, core and legs, and no impact - which is important if you've got a lot of excess weight and don't want to damage your joints.Too old to care, young enough to remember
