You must be American, after the big fight against Netscape and Microsoft, Americans got very anti IE were as Europe and Asia are the biggest users of IE as all PCs sold here come with IE pre installed and every one is used to using it at work and most IT Administrators will not upgrade due to licensing restrictions.
We all agree IE is not the best but as business decides we go with the majority of users and that is IE in the UK.
In order of the voted best browsers
1st Opera
2nd FireFox (Mozilla)
3rd IE

You commented that the site should be coded for Moz as not many people use IE the point of the last post was to show IE is being used more than any other browser for this business. Moz is better but not widely used as IE in UK

Do read what I actually write in future. I really do so hate it when people start interpreting what I write.

A properly coded page will display correctly in *any* browser.

When someone with little knowledge of coding FRAMED IE pages like your self has no clue about what they are talking about this two is a problem.
Any one with some knowledge will know coded FRAMED IE does not work in any browser other than IE.
If you took the code back to its main source Adobe Go Live CS2 you will see that there are no errors when checking IE format, change it to Opera format and yes I agree, but it was designed for IE and IE only for UK usersDo you require Show-plates, Picture plates, Signs and Vinyl Stickers Etc?

What the chuff are you talking about?
what does this mean?
with little knowledge of coding FRAMED IE pages
If it only displays correctly in IE, and this is the last time I will say this, IT IS NOT TRULY VALID HTML. But pray, do tell what a 'framed IE page' is?Last edited by MattF; 22 February 2008, 03:13.

Oh, and whilst you're at it, why don't you go and tell the W3C that they have no idea what constitutes HTML validity too.

Back in the 80s when Netscape were taking Microsoft to court Microsoft came up with FRAMED (Framset) and IFRAMED pages which had the effect your having problems with Moz and that is Microsoft wanted and has dominate the WWW side of the internet as only IE could display and still only display FRAMED pages correctly.
This is why there are more plug-ins for IE than any other browser and these cause security issues.
As discovered with Hotmail when Microsoft bought them out.
You will find American web sites are trying to get away from using FRAMED and using CSS pages but using IE in UK means you have the best of viewing both worlds but as before security is a issue.Do you require Show-plates, Picture plates, Signs and Vinyl Stickers Etc?

If as quoted by YOU Im quoting text from websites and a extra large reference book I am correct in what I am saying as yes this information is their and you are small minded not to come back with a more intelligent quote than FERKIN and you can only code in HTML/XML (can you code at all?(think not)) says it all. All the best in your small minded world have a good one
