Could you back up this statement with some reasons please?No 2nd gens don't look nicer by the way,they are also less roomy,less comfortable,the 4wd system isn't as good as the 3rd gen(you can drive on tarmac in 4wd in a 3rd gen,handy at this time of year),the 3rd gen also has a better engine.

As I understand light hearted not-at-all-serious statements are now forbidden in this section, which I would point out as always has 'chit chat' in its title not 'very po-faced discussions about differentials', here are some reasons:

1. I like the look of the 2nd gen better than the 3rd gen and I get just as many votes as you.

2. I haven't measured, if the 3rd gen is more roomy, so be it. I must admit to never having run out of room in mine.

3. Most people say the 2nd gen seats are more comfortable.

4. If you actually need 4wd in a 2nd gen you can turn it on. You just can't drive around with it on for no reason.

5. Define 'better'. I have more BHP and less noise than you.
