2nd gen and 3rd gen surfs??

Why is a 2nd gen better then?

The 3rd Gen has struts at the front instead of torsion bars and also has a full time 4WD option.

Not wanting to start a fight but in my mind a 3rd gen is a better option

Could anyone post a pic of each one for me please, cos i dont know which mine is but i suspect its the 2nd gen.

In addtion to its age, the fact that its a 2.4 marks it out as 2nd gen. Third gens dont come in that size

Could you back up this statement with some reasons please?No 2nd gens don't look nicer by the way,they are also less roomy,less comfortable,the 4wd system isn't as good as the 3rd gen(you can drive on tarmac in 4wd in a 3rd gen,handy at this time of year),the 3rd gen also has a better engine.
