Get a snorkel with a k&n in it, and get rid of your silencers and have a side exit exhaust, and smile as the turbo winds itself up, and sounds like a harier taking off

So then ive not been bad on power in my diesel,Over took a L200 up a hill with chipper on the back easy then realised i was doing 80mph with 7k worth of kit on the back bouncing around on a 50mm tow ball!

Itll help with power and when driven gently should improve mpg, driven hard itll get worse....... I think, clarification will no doubt be on the way

Thats all very well but i charge around the countryside going from job too job and ive GOT to be quick.

Then get a 3rd gen intercooled 3.0 TD 170 BHP, T-plate would be a good year

They are hidiously expensive but drove one last week and they are rapid, i mean new navarra power

That is quick.......I just cant bring myself to spend that on a wagon thats going to get Tree thrown at it all day and driven hard around 6ft wide roads dragging along goarse.AND towing!
Nice idea i think with the side pipe and Snorkel though as this might quench my lust for noise!

Ive got an intercooler and on oil cooler to fit from the shed too!

I think this will have to do as thats about my budget!

1) My snorkel makes the truck sound like an inboard diesel in a boat at low revs. Higher revs doesn't really sound much different unless you've got the windows open.

2) The side exit exhaust isn't a great deal louder, and nor does it change the power significantly. Why would it? You aint putting in any more fuel, and the original exhaust doesn't seem to be particularly restrictive. You're only producing the wrong side of 140bhp anyway...

3) Petrol engines ignition systems need waterproofing if you want them to survive deep water.

I'm sure there's ways of making the Surf more powerful, but I doubt the return for the money is worth it. Towing, you're never gonna be fast, and if you are, you'd be better making sure you can stop too. Big brakes are gonna cost you.

So i need to stop in less than half a mile,what brake up grades other than pads and grooved rotors are there

can i get more power full over all system and can i get discs for the back?
