      Sorry, im just catchin up here, who are the numpty's refered to earlier? Seems it could be someone who wasnt aware that we all know theres a Toyota based V8 engine
      and for the ones who were interested remember the machine is in Brixham,Devon, as i notice your from scotland, thats £90 in diesel 1 way.

                            I would keep the 3.0 diesel, for offroading and have the lexus as the runaround, cheaper and you get 2 working cars instaed of 2 broken ones

                              I'd sod the Lexus and spend the money on something more useful like a holiday, or an expensive perm, or a bag for the dog.

                              My 3.0 will go anywhere the V8 will go, AND without dropping dead half way through every river crossing

                              Sound nice though...
