the turbo on the surfs are oil cooled aren't they and the main thing that will go is the bearing if there is no oil pressure.This is what happened to my 3l at xmas and it sounded like a tin of nails
rich the turbos are water cooled just for future reference mate.hehehehhee
how am i going to get it to these garages!! i dont want it to die half way there, i mean stockport is far away from me and i dont know any bobs, just the bits an bobs under my bonnet!
apart from front crank seal leaking it could a missing bolt like tonyn found on mine stormy will prob remember what it was but think it was for some bracket that fitted onto engine but not sure what it was now

Tony said it was from a bracket that would only need be taken off if the head has been taken off
this is a nightmare!! i dont want to take it some where an they say its fixed an it dies the next day!! do u think it is safe to drive it of i cud b doing alot more damage?

Give Stevo a ring and i think he can arrange to have it transported for you aswell if you're worried about driving it.He will get the truck sorted for you and it will run perfect for you
What are the oil pipes for on the turbo then Mark cause i thought they were oil cooled but thinking of it there is also the water pipe on there aswell
the oil pipes are there because the turbo bearings need a constant supply of high pressure oil or else they just break up and well you know the rest.hehehehehe

aahh right.i had just thought they were oil cooled and thats why mine went when i lost the oil pressure
