In Florida at the moment it's $2.98 per gallon (£1.47 a gallon) but then you need to work out that a US gallon is, I think, not quite the same as a UK imperial gallon, so it may be a little less.....all in all though, much more here than it used to be, but still a lot less than the UK.......A LOT!

Hi all, I work on diesel generators along with just about everything in the electrical field. That being said I'm sold on diesels being a powerful workhorse engine capable of taking a beating and coming back for more. PDR "stinky and noisy" sure, but the wife says that about me and still hangs on. Being a bit slow doesn't bother me the 3.0 is still a good dependable engine and more than enough for the trails. When I want fast I hop in my 70 Chevelle 454 @ 525 hp it gives me all the fast I need but doesn't get me too far offroad. Petrol has gotten a littel cheaper here 14 cents less than MudSurfer . Haven't been to Dublin, it's actually my dogs name. The dogs not Irish, he's an all white Samoyed/Chow/German Shepard weighing 145 lbs. that thinks he's Irish. He's Gentle when stroked, fierce when provoked and though dogs are color blind he seems to like anything green in color. Maybe he thinks he's a Wolfhound.
