  • Hello

Greetings from across the pond. Just dropped by to check out the Hilux's and Surf's. Wish we had them in the states, I'd love to have a diesel to replace my 3.Slow. Here's a pic of my daily driver

Hope it's ok for a left hand drive rig owner to hang out here for a bit.

I John, and welcome - that is a REALLY nice truck you have there!

Most of the UK contigent are asleep now - but get yourself ready for a warm welcome when you next log in!!

I'm about to change my 2.4D 2nd gen to (maybe) a 3.0D 3rd gen (4Runner) when I get back home.....

Nice to have you on the forum!

      Hi John

      Welcome to the madhouse.

Look out for the wars about colour & gen.

I'm lucky I have a burgandy Gen2, probably the best combination to have

The later ones (Gen3) are usually refered to as hair dressers cars - mainly because of the free extras they come with - hairdrier, curling tongs etc

On a serious note though you call always get good advice here especialy if your trucks sick
      My other cars a QUAD

Thanks all for the warm welcome. i've been behind the wheel of a Toyota truck since my first off the showroom floor 1980 pickup and they've never let me down. Truely very capable rigs. Hoping to share some knowledge and learn a few things along the way. Nice place you have here, cheers.

Welcome Dublin, nice rig you have, although I think your 3.0 V6 will be a bit quicker than or oil burners.

No full lock, yes and no. Flatlands and roads no problem, rough terrian and steep angle inclines just a slight bit of rub on the plastic inner fenders. Helps keep the mud off the tires and buffs out the wheel wells .
