Spent a good half hour shooting the breeze with our MD today about veg fuel, mountain biking and 'f'ckin ramblers' over a cuppa. I'd lost faith but it seems there's still 'grass roots' engineering companies out there. Lovin it! Leaving MoD is the best move I ever made!

They really are few and far between. Can't remember the last time I saw a company/business that doesn't class engineers as a necessary evil and nowt else. Most of the engineers I know over this way have either retired or gone into completely different areas, workwise, now.

Just noticed myself grinning. It really has been a f*ckin revelation, after so many years of deep management procedural sh1t. I no longer want to cry at the thought of going to work. Right now I'm planning in my head how I'm gonna test this gun next week!
The lads want to strap it to the top of the truck and photograph it for the company website. At 150 kilos though, we might struggle!
