    Doh,

Only just occured to me that, although the 3.0 has a great deal more power than the 2.4, you can never be too thin, too rich or have too much power!

A whole new market opens up.

I'll do some more research (like I've just found somewhere that does the hoses for £50).

I think I'm gonna have to hold an informal 'Intercooler Masterclass' at the Run to the Sun. On the Saturday morning. When we've all got massive hangovers. On second thoughts...................

Hey, I'm new on here, and to tell you the truth I don't even own a Hilux yet... keyword being YET. I've been shopping for a little while and i'm closing in on what I like... anyways enough of that. When I do get my Hilux, I'd like to do a few mods to it, and an intercooler with a Hood scoop (I guess you guys call it a bonnet?) is a definite go. I came accross this RX-7 intercooler on ebay and I was wondering if the orientation of the intake and outlets would be an issue...

      Thanks

                      Only this one....

The inlet and outlet both point straight down for easy connection.

p.s. It's not connected up yet.

Not really tested it yet - drove about 10 miles to make sure nothing was gonna blow off etc. Then had the required beverage (ahhhh, cider).

Have a think about what it feels like to cut a big hole in your car!

I've had the truck for over three years so I will notice any changes. Actually, the engine sounded quieter on the go. Anyway, I will monitor and post results as I get them.
NICE JOB. I took the easy option & bought a 3rd gen Intercooled & boy does it shift.
