An Enginner calls

Had a fellow Insurance Engineer pay a visit today to inspect the damage to my 4Runner . He said 'I know you don't I?' . Yep , I knew him from a few years back . So all went well as I had prepared the estimate along with the invoice from Jon for the tow bar and parts costs from Sumo . Told the guy parts would be a nightmare to locate so I would settle for cash settlement which you are entitled to .
I had mahine polished the vehicle on Tuesday as the builders next door had sprayed Masonary paint over it . He commented that the vehicle was in excellent condition for year and that it must have a private plate on it as looked to new for reg .He has to value it so I told him to try and find another in the country to compare to , poor Craig just agreed he would go with my value .
Hope to end this soon and get my steel bash bar on the back . Try that one Patel !

Hmmm, very nice job... Jon, do you have a pattern for all these bits...? How much would you charge to make one up that ran full width... with two bow shackles on... and replaced the rear bumper but still mounted to the chassis...?

Had a cheque come through the post for some of the damage caused by Patel . Cheaky s*ds at Insurance Co. stopped £250 for the excess even though I had a letter saying it was waived as not my fault .They agreed to pay in lieu of repairs due to the parts not available
Now I can pay a panel beater and sprayer the money to repair the damage the hit and run Isuzu f****r did .
