Temperarilty..swapped SURF for two skis and a single tank track, with one sixth of the size of engine, but still went up the hills like a rocket.
(bit colder than the SURF tho!)

Sorry to those going to Langdale, but this is literally the ONLY weekend Danno and I could come up with, unless we waitied until July/August. As Dan says below - we will organise another later in the year if this one is successful.

If you on a legal Byway or RUPP, its still a public highway, so you're covered.

At an offroad site could be tricky, Linda's insurance said OK, as long as your not competing or being paid, as it not technically any difference from rolling it on your driveway being silly, or at devils pit being even sillier.

Even the AA and RAC will come and get you if you breakdown! The plains is a mixture of public and MOD roads with public access so as the mans says You are covered!

I'm with A-Plan. I checked with them and I'm covered as long as I'm not racing or competing against the clock. This covers greenlanes, and off road sites too. I think its worth you ringing them to find out.

Come in 2WD - it will still be fun and we'll tow you out if you get stuck anywhere!!!

..and lets face it, someones tow rope would be attached to my car for most of the time!! i loose traction on my gravel drive!!!...off course if anyone knows how to make my 4wd work that would be just dandy (there are absolutly no prizes for saying " press the button"). tommorrow is fettle day..well up to about 11 anyway other wise i might get stressed and try and break something....

I'm just trying to do a deal with the campsite, but it looks like I'll have the site for friday, saturday and sunday nights. I'll be there from Sat am as I live in So'ton its only 20mins drive away.

Those confirmed - I could do with an idea of what you'll be sleeping in. ie tents/caravans or the truck. Its going to be tight to get everyone in the same site. Please let me know ASAP as its bank holiday w/e and its going to be busy.
