  • oof rack, 33s BFG MTs on modulars, sidesteps

Right, all the other bits are now sold - thanks everyone

It's now reached that time and so my 2nd gen SSRG is now up for sale - full 12 months MOT, great condition, a few extras, details on difflock - 2nd gen SSRG for sale. If it sells to a user from here, I'll of course pay the ad fees.

Truck is located in Gainsborough, North Lincs.

Yep they're a lovely looking combination. They're only on the truck in the photo as a quick look-see I first got them and I couldn't haven driven it, other than in a straight line. The truck in that photo is standard height. To get them to fit and be able to run around you need a total of 4" of lift - most people do a 2" body life and 2" suspension lift - plenty of details here on the forum if you have a browse around.

Does the roof rack include the roof bars?

Also, what about the tyres without the wheels??

            Thanks,

            Ray.

Yep, the roofrack comes with everything ready to bolt it to your truck, as shown in the photo above.

I really want to sell the wheels/tyres together, but am always happy to listen to ££

Can you guestimate the weight of the roof rack so I could send a courier to collect it?

I thought you'd say that about the wheels, killer combination but I already have some Pajero wheel on mine which look pretty sweet!

                Thanks,

                Ray.

Around 20kg at a guess, but I can check at the weekend for you...

                    That'd be great!
Do you have any bubble wrap or cardboard to wrap it in (no need for a bow or anything!)

                    Thanks,

                    Ray.

If these wheels and tyres, with this offset, will go on my 2" suspension lifted/2" body lifted/otherwise standard Surf, without rubbing on full lock etc, then i'd be interested. Please advise...

                      And is it 4 or 5 wheels/tyres?

You might find you get a small amount of rubbing when on full lock, I know i do with the my 33's, but this is minimal and nothing really to worry about.
You can trim the inner arch liner to stop it rubbing.

Cheers, does the offset have any effect on rubbing or clearance issues? Not too up on this subject...

more offset moves it nearer to the bulkhead and bumper edge, but away from the wishbones and chassis rails.

Right, so are they gonna be ok on mine when bumping around off road then? Or are they likely to come into contact with stuff?

                              Cheers.
