I've looked online and see pics of racks fitted but can't find any for sale. Thule roof bars I've found seem to all clamp onto...

I'm after a set of roof bars (that attached to the door frame) for my KZN130 and a roof rack to go with.
Any body got some knocking around?

I currently planning an overloading holiday to Morocco and have a Surf in mind for the trip. I have a few ideas about various modifications relevant for such journey.

1. Snorkel for any river crossings,
2. 2" suspension lift,

I have just bought my first surf. As I use it a lot off road I have removed the bits I am sure will get knocked off pretty soon.

These bits include a Aluminium roof rack in pretty good condition and LARGE bull bar with spot lights.

I live in the Dordogne region of France...

I'm deciding whether to buy a roof rack from someone breaking his Surf. He has it riveted on to just the skin of the roof with Rivnuts, seems to take a fair weight and is solid. His Surf didn't have the sunroof though and mine does. So my question is;

Is this okay to do on a roof...
