Alternator

Ignore this as traced the problem to a wire that had broken inside the insulation

On the truck I am working on it is a small black box 6 wires located in the engine bay on the bulk head, just above where the steering comes through.

Does anyone have the seperate voltage regulator for this style of alternaotr as it looks like it is on the blink as well?

Or a part number if they are still available or any suggestions?

sorry, i had a dig round the shed as I've broken 2 non-EFI trucks, but no alts left, sorry...

You know 2.4 Mk3 pickups have a rear mounted pump, probably the same.

Success at last thanks Tony ordered one today £40 inc delivery.

Will be great to get the truck finished as the wifey was starting to get a bit worried that I would not find one.
