Hi surfies, I have a busted radiator it has a small crack along the top, does anybody know if it is cheaper to buy a new one or get this one re-built? and if a new one is in order, do you know where to get a new one? it is for a 92 ssrx 2.4 new shape with the silly wee mirror on the front wing (whats that all about?) cheers, Jamie

you can get the rad recored but you want to get the head checked out as i had that problemand when i managed to seal the hole up it forced the water to find the weak spot in the head and it hydrolocked as i was going down the road so it might be worth getting a pressure check on the head first.so much to do , so little money , so little time

Only real solution is to buy a new genuine radiator because the top tanks usually crack from a combination of metal fatigue (from engine vibration) and internal corrosion so there's not much point in repairing them.
The part number for the Toyota Surf 2.4 radiator is 16400 54732 and list price is £257.34 +VAT
