Bugga! That's really bad news Andy, I'm sorry that you had to get rid of the Surf but at the moment finances are a problem for most people.
I don't want to be a cheeky beggar but do you have that moors green lane route to Whitby on Memory Map mate? If you do, and you can let me have it, I will try and keep the days outing ongoing. My grandson was really looking forward to it. You and Sarah are more than welcome to come along in my truck if you like as there's only me and Connor going.
Just let me know mate.

@ Scorpion
You got Andy's number Jim? He may be down in the dumps and not logging in. It would be a shame if he's worked out a route and it wont get used. You out there Andy, shout up, plenty of room to come along. May even buy you a pint if you dont have to drive mate

The route I had planned was a bit of a joint effort between me and my friend James, I drove it with him last year on new years eve. The maps for the route are all saved on his memory map program which is on his lap top which lives in his landrover... The plan was for him to lead using his GPS mapping software and for us to follow him beacause I dont have a laptop or GPS receiver.
I am going up to see him on tuesday night to see if he is still interested in going... or if he can print off the route so I can just sit in with one of you guys...
Sorry about messing everyone about!
I will keep you posted

Very sorry everyone but I have had no joy with getting the route off my mates laptop, he has just updated his software and is on him self re-plotting the lanes.
I have been on wayfinder last night to see if I can retrace the route but I dont really know how to go on with it.
All I can realy remember without looking at our saved route is that it starts at guisbough and works over to the main whitby road, the lanes are rather long and I just cant seem to find them on wayfinder.
Anyone got any suggestions where else I can look? I cant even remember where we originally got the route from.Happy Surfing!
