A date has been suggested, and it makes some sense. Late October rather than beginning of November due to bonfire parties the few weekends after that.
Head to North Wales on evening of Friday 26th to set up camp at TBD. Saturday 27th morning break camp and do Wafarer and / or Whitestones (Mudsurfer - can you arrange?). Then on west to the run from Rhyd-Yr-Onen to Pennal (very rocky, tough climb) perhaps taking in one of the other routes nearby if time allows.
Following this, head south to TBD in the locality of the North end of Strata Florida. Set up camp.
Sunday 28th, do Strata and Sarn Helen and bu66er off home tired but fulfilled!
Can anyone see any glaring holes in this plan?

just a thought,
is there a standard minimum that is insisted on to drive and camp where we are going,and by that i mean certain tyres,certain equipment etc,or is just personal preferenceNon intercooled nothing.Comment

OK - just had a chat to Apache.
Mudsurfer - can you look for the Friday campsite with a view to us (possibly) doing a shortish night run?
The other alternative is that we plan the saturday route to get to the north end of Strata Florida and do that north to south (saturday evening).
Only prob is we will be setting camp in the dark (sat) and you'll miss the glorious views (unless we go up and down it on the saturday???)
