getting snorkel fitted, removing the large dent on the front lower valance from the Salisbury Campout, installing CB, refitting camping stuff to back area.

This weekend i will be pushing the dent out from last weekend`s off roading trip! and changing the ns rear spring for an old one i kept in the garage as the new one seems to have died!!

I`m all set on the camping front just going to sleep in the truck looks like only me coming down as Kat does not fancy camping in October!! might bring my sister and her boyfriend if they fancy it!!

I was thinking of fitting one in the lower DIN space and then getting a non looking CB arial something like this

Sleeping in the truck is probably the best option. Getting a bit chilly these nights!

The only problem with that kind of anteena is that it won't (probably) get good tx/rx whereas a propper antanna will get good reception.

We will be in the Welsh hills, and the convoy may end up a couple of miles from front to back, with hills and trees between.

Get a mag mount with good antenna and see how it goes.

I have a midland 78 it works well its installed in the lower Din fits nice with the din instalation kit!
