SO - The proposal is to go on the 30th June run to Snowdonia - THERE ARE PLACES AVAILABLE

an extract from the simply4x4 website www.simply4x4.co.uk
SAT 30TH JUNE SNOWDONIA RUN. START BALA 10.00, FINISH DOLGELLAU 17.45. A STUNNING SCENIC 80 miles run taking in tracks in the Snowdonia National Park. Includes long Roman road tracks and drovers roads and includes the long Happy Valley track (which is OK for standard vehicles to drive if driven carefully.) Also includes a vist to an WW2 aircraft crash site where a Flying Fortress aircraft hit the mountain in 1945! Absolutely stunning views of Snowdonia's mountains on this run as we drive through and over them!

            Hi all.

I dont think I was clear in the original thread that this is a run organised by Simply 4x4, so if you want to go you will have to get in touch with THEM and book, not Andy. It just so happens that there will be a few Surfs along.

I wont be able to do anything until I get back to the UK and square away any domestics I may have when I get home so best I can say is 'I'm keen, and will be coming as long as nothing pressing get's in the way'.

            Cheers!

                How much is it Andy?

Looks like sidesteps off for that one... though they might be useful protection in some areas I suppose...

                      Hi Rich,

Looks like we got a plan coming together!

Another 3 trucks and they'll knock 10% off as well.

I know you're on Ynys Mon - but we'll be camping in Barmouth - I'm still looking at a few different sites - I'll mail you details of where we'll be

Can someone reserve a spec for me if any available? I'm still in the States for an unknown period of up to a week and a half and it's...

                        a) A bit pricey to call from here.

                        b) As you can see by the time of this post, I'm working incompatible hours to you lot!

Let me know if you can help!

Yeah, camping in Barmouth makes sense! My old stomping ground!

Try Caerddaniel, they have a big camping field and it's a short walk from the beach and The Halfway House pub. There's also Hendre Mynach which is big and near enough *in* Barmouth and practically on the beach.

I have booked a place for Apache on this run - that makes 4 of us now.

Lovely Boyo, Hiroler, Heapy + Apache.

I have emailed Hendre Mynach campsite and they have sent me all the details- they are on my works computer - I'll forward the costs next week - its about £15/tent/night.

http://www.hendremynach.co.uk/ for details - it look really nice.
