Well I've taken the plunge and bought a tent especially for this weekend. I'm not a fan of camping, no computer, central heating, telly, dvd, you know all the stuff that makes life worthwhile, but I'm prepared to give it a shot as I imagine it will be a lot of fun after the day(s) at Weardale.

Can I book my tent in for Friday night please, I think it's medium as I haven't had it up yet (there's no way to describe that without it sounding rude) but will pay extra if it's classed as large.

When do we pay for the campsite and the day(s) at Weardale, Colin?

Cheers Colin, can hardly curb my enthusiasm now! Just hope the weather improves for camping, as I said before I like my creature comforts and sitting in a cold damp tent with rain pouring down doesn't come high on my list of fun things!

Bought myself a 35 litre cooler especially for liquid refreshment mate. Should hold enough cans and a tuna sandwich for the Friday night!

Anyone coming up this way from around the Mansfield area? If so is there any chance you could pick a set of wheels and tyres plus and exhaust from Magnum force? I would of course be prepared to pay towards fuel costs. I know it's a tall order as most people will have their camping gear etc on board but just thought I'd ask.

I go to mansfield a lot! But unsure if i can make weardale, iam trying my hardest to get there on one of the days but can not confirm yet if i can make it due to work!

There is other ways i might be able to help but cant set anything in stone yet cause sometimes i dont know where my work will take me next.

good news guys, i talked a workmate into swappin shifts with me so looks like me and dad are up for the friday night, saturday night AND sunday night unless the shift swap falls through, but theres not much chance of that happenin

tell your dad to ask chris as he has sorted out the campsite side of things.
