            • Meal for the Saturday night

              Hello,

This is the menu for the Bluebell (the pub we're having the meal in on the Saturday night).

Please PM me your choices rather than fill up this thread - thanks.

I have confirmed our booking with the campsite - the field is ready and we will have a large pitch together.

              • Rough cut agenda for the weekend......

OK - some thoughts on an approximate agenda for the weekend.

Friday 11th - Mid day ish - I will meet those travelling from the east and we will convoy along the A40 to Llandovery. Meeting point TBA.

All meet at Erwlon Campsite. By about 3pm we would have set up camp. So we can either go for a little scenic drive over the Eppynt firing ranges or I can check access to the off road track (£15 per truck and quite tough!).

Early evening BBQ at the campsite then stay chilling in the field or walk 1/2 mile down the road to the town and pubs.

Saturday - have some breakfast then leave by 10.30ish and head for the hills. Up Strata Florida and stop for a picnic. Down Strata Florida and around Llyn Brianne. Stop at pub? We'll be back to the camp by 6pm.

Meal booked for 7.30 at The Bluebell. Eat lovely food and drink lovely beer.

Sunday - whatever! Sort it out according to size of hangovers.

There is a Somerfield 1/4 mile for the camp so easy access for groceries etc.

How far is the Bluebell from the site Andy? Just wondering if I need to scrounge a lift. There's NO WAY I'm driving!

                    • Vatch - vatchettes are more than welcome!

Apache - pub is about 1/2 mile down the road - the field we are having is the closest part of the camp to the town and it has its own little exit!
