The plain 4th November

Ok mate. If you arm yourself with an antenna+mount and a cigarette lighter plug, you could fit on the morning no problem. John could, if you asked him nicely SWR it on the day.

Its got a power lead, but was hard wired in my truck. Bang the ciggie lighter plug on it and your good to go. We'll sort the cash sometime mate. I'm in no rush.

Right,two weeks to go and lurch and i did the north route today,from wesbury white horse to redhorn vadettebut were unable to get to the Bustard site as the plain was closed....Good newsthe plain will be open on the fourth .
Also tried a nice little hill climb which will be included(note the undergrowth is encrouching on this byway so if anyone does not wish to attempt this there is another route)

Lurch has been learning the routes so we should be able to run two groups

We meet at the countess services on the A303 (for those who havent been there before ,the entrance is on the London bound carragewayjust off the countess roundabout , Amesbury http://www.hiluxsurf.co.uk/forums/at...9&d=1158880917)Between 09.30 and 10.00

There will be a southern run Larkhill,stonhenge,druids lodge,Stapleford,Yarbury castle,Compton down,to Tilshead.

Drive up to The Churchhill arms West Lavington for lunch.

Then drive over to the westbury white horse for the afternoon run ,along the northen transit route with some detours to the Redhorn vadette ,then accross the plain to the bustard site and then back to the services.

its looking like a good day cant wait to get the truck dirty again with all this rain the mud should be getting pretty thick so i better look out the tow rope just in case

Unfortunely for those who missed it the bustard puddle has been blocked off by the mod and is no longer useable

i bet matey in the bmw complained when we laughed at him when he hit that stump or whatever it was he hit and thats why they closed it off
