If we get the OK, I will grab a few piccy's and post them here.

Well I did go back over that way today but unfortunatly the Quarry owner, though sympathetic to our needing a site to use for recreation and muckying our trucks, was not inclined to allow the use of his land. To paraphrase him, "If I give permision for you lot to use the site and someone gets hurt, injured, or causes damage to vehicles, in this age of claims and law suits, guess who is the easy target, the land owner, who for a back hander, gave permision and didnt have any insurance to cover the event"

So sorry guys and gals, but that site is a no no.

It's not all doom and gloom though, my quest to find lanes in central and south Lancashire is comming on great guns.
This taken with my phone today only 2 mile from Accrington town centre.

Should soon have a route sorted

Hi gaz...what map version are you running as my memory map 2004 shows that route as bridle way for most of it but has public access at the ski slope end.

may be i should update but frightened off loosing all the lanes i have. I know u can save the overlays but if it dosent work ive lost the lot. seems the late version has more boats than the 2004 version.
