Ok - to cure the Xmas excesses.... 28th Dec there is an offroad meet at Pingewood, Nr Reading, Berkshire.
It's open 9.30 am to 5pm and costs £20 per person. It's an 11acre site and not as hard or technical as the pit, but there is apparently lots of water and mud.
This event is run by Thames Valley 4x4 but they have told me they are happy to welcome anyone from this site... also if you have rugrats 14 or over there is a course where they can drive under your supervision.
see pics at http://www.yotasurf.co.uk/Forums/showthread.php?t=1792 unfortunately no surfs - but we can change that eh??
Let me know if you are interested.....
DIRECTIONS:- Turn off the M4 at Junction 11 and head SOUTH towards Basingstoke. At the first roundabout, take the 3rd exit signposted Burghfield and Grazeley, then follow the road approx. 300yds and turn right into Great Lea.
This road you follow for about 1.5 miles which takes you back over to the north side of the M4 again, continue along until you come to a bridge over a railway line with traffic lights. Go over the bridge and take the 1st turning right (Cottage Lane) The site entrance is approx. 100yds on the right hand side.
