Cooling the 2.4

I used a few washers as spacers to lift the rear edge of the bonnet about half an inch to let the hot air out. Did it about 5 years ago now and appears to work. Cost, about 50p.Was going to fit vents but didnt have the nervr to attack the bonnet with a jigsaw.

As it was bleedin' hot today and with the Summer on its way I was wandering what you lot have tried or fitted or modded to keep the 2.4 engine cool?

Done the bleed valve mod.

Done the viscous fan.

New rad fitted.

Obviously junking the atf cooler in the bottom of the rad.

But what else has been experimented with?
