hi John how are you? long time no hear! yeah the truck now has a lot to live up to!

still going to be about a month till fully working and wired in! going to drumclog this weekend so will probably have to give next week a miss but if it is the 1st sunday of ever month then would like to do either july or august! as you might have seen from the threads just been doing lanes from prestatyn to welshpool and have found some preety challenging lanes! could come alone to the next one if can!

Got to see this beast in the flesh and it is a credit to Danny, cracking install and LPG conversion. He told me over a beer or 6 that he has only ever done two mechanical things in his life one being the v8 conversion. All I can say is he must have read the manual well. The truck sounds and works fantastic.

haha think it was about the 7th actually! LPG i didnt do! i dont want to blow myself up! yeah nothing like the sound of a V8 charging upa hill! yeah im very good at reading australian conversion threads! sorry i lied the V8 is the 3rd mechanical thing i have done! fitting a front diff was my second and going to be my 4th! the pipe valley was my undoing i hoofed it up and i think a bounced a bit and kept foot on right pedal! but just as bad as toyota designed a weak front diff! they have equally designed a function to get you home when you do break it, because when you disengage it you can drive it OK so i didnt have to go home in the back of an AA van! (this time anyway)!

likewise good to meet up with you and I'm sure I will be up there again!

Have you got your diff sorted yet? I would love to do some lanes before the end of the month if you are up for it. This w/end just gone would have been perfect with all of the rain we had... oh well.

going on holiday in a week so saving up spends for that so will get it when i get back so possible date 16-17th July. may do that wales weekender if poeple are up for it! but i know your missus is expecting in late July? so you can only do the day!

i do but cant make the july one as coming back off holiday on that sunday! so it wont be till august bank holiday i can make it as going to avalanche in august so will be spent up and or broke after that weekend!

yeah i did see that is there one in august or september? will be up for that if there is! have a good weekend! is it raining or sunny? its raining in wales i have a thing for wet weekends off roading and camping! will check the site for pics and vids on monday!
