I know its a few weeks old this post but a few months ago I got pulled by the traffic cops for having blue side lights. They said blue lights can only be used for emergency vehicles and you can only use white or amber lights on the front of your motor and red and amber and on the rear except white for reversing. They read me my rights but then couldnt continue because the offence did not have a code on there list of offences. So you may ask is it an offence?

Well i think it used to be, or it was made up by the bolshie sod who stopped me, but that was years ago, nowadays i see many cars/trucks with blue,green, amber light's on the front, so i'm guessing it was down to arsey traffic cops, if they dont have a code then it cant be an offence sure'ly
pity they cant find something usefull to do (like chase up a thieveing ebay
