They're welcome to read mine anytime. Five minutes in there, they'd never
      come back a second time.

Just had another thought pop into the cesspit. sorry, mind. Is there an
easy way of getting some control signal from the Surf when you're either
above a certain speed, or when it's in a certain gear, (on the auto)?

Did the beeper unit actually contain the circuitry then? Methinks a cadge
          session is about to loom.

              • Cheers Richard. Will be by far the easiest method if I can figure out the
                specifics.

Almost thought you were getting the 'hump on' then Ian.

It's not due to me having a bell fetish as well now. Just trying to figure
out if the speed sensing circuit is builtin to the bell, or whether it uses a
mechanical device. Never seen one of the bells, so I'm at a loss as to how
it knows what speed to kick in.

                    • Cant help you there mate, except perhaps a very miniture sensitive contact that could be activated by the actual speedo needle, are these bells fitted to other surf "gens" or other vehicles?, most people want to disable these things
Anyhow a couple of pics of that pump!, As you cant see the lables too well i'll
list wot's on em, its german BTW

dont know if any of this makes any sence to you, no other marking on the caseing, Apart from it being 24v and runs at 2 bar pressure when run on that voltage i assume or withstands 2 bar of pressure in the system ?
I'll rig it to a 12v battery and test the flow in a bucket of water, think i have some hoses to fit this
