Afternoon me harties!
Further to my previous post a while back, my poor wee truck is still pulling to the left. Yesterday it was taken to Farmers in Edinburgh who are expert 4x4 tracking specialists. They tried 4 different settings, the last and the one it is currently set at is as for a KZN130 4Runner. It still pulls to the left (albeit a bit less) and they are not going to bill the dealer who sold me the truck as it didn't leave their place 100% fixed. Nice of them.
They did discover something else which makes me think it is a more serious problem.
If you sit on a dead flat bit of tarmac and reverse without holding the steering wheel , the truck starts to reverse o the left and the steering wheel spins through nearly a full half turn. Is this possible due to a miss aligned back axel or sommat like that, or is this par for the course for a Surf?
Any advice from any of you will be greatly appreciated.
I is confusticated innit!
