  • lost oil in gearbox

    need help coming back from lakes yesterday and suddenly,smoke came piling out of back end of car . pulled over to see and found auto transmission oil dripping out of bell housing onto exhaust not too long after i lost drive and my gearbox was empty? how did it go so fast ????

    Broken oil cooler line,mainshaft pump seal, loose dipstick tube really need to topup and check.

              hi and thanks all i had similar trouble when i changed engines and found i had damaged oil seal on main shaft of gearbox cant remember it draining so fast though ??? also oil very black was told my clutch packs are goosed ???
