I've just changed the passanger outer track-rod end and steering idler bushes on my '91 2.4, they were absolutley shot. Also had the tracking done at a local garage while i was at it.
I now have a quite loud knocking noise when on right hand full lock and i move forwards, it doesn't sound like it's coming from the cv joints but as though something is maybe rubbing or grating on the chassis.
Due to the weather i haven't had chance to have a look underneath today, but i was wondering if there is anything in particular that i should check? Wondering if after the tracking that the steering mechanisms may be travelling too far in one direction?
