Picked up my truck and should hopefuly be going to tony very soon for a service etc
one thing i've noticed that my front tyres are pretty much new, but the rears have tread but are perishing on both between the tread and more worringly on the side walls..
So they obviously need changing - as my budget is dwindling rapidly i cant afford to replace all 4 of the tyres, but I do want some chunkier A/T tyres..
The ones on my truck at the mo are bridgstones and seem to have a more road focused tread pattern - now I may be talking out of my arse as i havent really a clue - but I've read somewhere before that front n rear tyres need to be matched in style/tread pattern etc..
so my question..
Should i put on the same tyres as i have on the front on the rears - then when funds allow, get another set of rims with an A/T (off road/winter) tyres on - which I know the sensible answer should be weekday/summer road tyres on one set and on the other set have the A/T - winter - off road tyres??
Or coud i just whack on some AT tyres on say the rear and run it till i can afford to change the fronts (is it safe??)
