Well I would start by taking off the front prop. If the noise goes, bobs your dads brother. If the noise is worse since you refitted the rear prop.. Have a damm good look at that. If it isn't the front prop or the back prop, could it be your transfer box....... You have taken it out of 4wd....Non intercooled nothing.

i was thinking it could be one of the boxes but they sound expensive, and as i havent sold the car yet i can afford any major repairs.... just trying to keep the truck on the road till i sell car and then its major repairs :P

Firstly mark the prop at either end . Then undo, turn 1 hole and redo up. Try it put to see how the vibration is. When the prop goes back into the right position you will know. Have you been using the truck in 4wd on the road at any time with both props connected?Non intercooled nothing.
