Well I would start by taking off the front prop. If the noise goes, bobs your dads brother. If the noise is worse since you refitted the rear prop.. Have a damm good look at that. If it isn't the front prop or the back prop, could it be your transfer box....... You have taken it out of 4wd....
      Non intercooled nothing.

Do as Graham says, you have put the prop on wrong unless you marked it before removal and lined it up on re fitting.

You will have to move it round one bolt hole at a time trial and error am afraid

it was the rear prop i repaired... its much worse in 2wd than 4wd... its bearable to drive in 4wd....

i was thinking it could be one of the boxes but they sound expensive, and as i havent sold the car yet i can afford any major repairs.... just trying to keep the truck on the road till i sell car and then its major repairs :P

Firstly mark the prop at either end . Then undo, turn 1 hole and redo up. Try it put to see how the vibration is. When the prop goes back into the right position you will know. Have you been using the truck in 4wd on the road at any time with both props connected?

The 2nd gens have no centre diff so in effect your 4wd is locked.
On hard surface you will get axel wind up

I'm posting using my fine so I can't highlight your post with ease. You should NEVER use 4wd on a normal road. Your symptoms you have described, sound very much like axle wind up.. Is yours a 2nd gen?

Actually more like transmission rather than axle wind up.sounds as if you have done some damage some where?
                            Possibly transfer box,possibly more.

I would REALLY encourage you to go out side right now and see if you can actually get it out of 4wd. If you can try a very short, slow drive....in 2WD!!!!!
