      Marky,

So not overloaded then? Toy is more than capable of that... Mine just appears to be a little work shy...

i have duff aircon on mine rather than 200 quid fixing something i'm not really fussed about, if i ditch it, isnt that an ideal place to stick the additional oil cooler?
          it's in me shed, mate.

You mean underneath behind the bash plate? yeah it`s well out of the way there, infact im sure i`ve read somewhere that people in the past have used aircon rads as oil coolers so it might be even easier for you.

oh, really???? so i just need some hose???? (story of my life...) someone tell me this works, please!!!! and yes aircon rad currently is below bumper 'protected' by wimpy looking bash plate. next thing, the aircon pump into a compressor trick....

Yeah i`m sure i`ve seen it done on some of the Aussie sites, you just need to divert one hose from the gearbox straight to your new cooler and the other hose coming out of your new cooler goes into the standard cooler to complete the loop. I cant remember which hose comes from the gearbox and which goes back but i would have thought it would be best to have the new cooler after the internal cooler cos i dont see much point in having the air cool the oil only for the water of the rad to heat it back to what ever the rad is.

I`ve no idea what connections are on the aircon rad are but the gearbox is only low pressure stuff so you should be able to make something up, just make sure you give the aircon rad a good cleanout before you use it.
                Cheers
