Update
Clutch bled and fluid replaced an pedal adjusted.
Deff not clutch or master cylinder related.
Gearbox was low on fluid.
Problem is still there - 3rd to 2nd is an issue unless the truck is nearly at a standstill then goes in fine. I know alot of you have auto's but does anyone have any ideas?
Vagrant no 2 you mentioned the bushes - any info on how to do this and which ones I need to get?
How can I be lost when I've got no where to go

The white plastic bush on the end of the shift lever:
33548-31010 - bush, NO. 1, SHIFT LEVER
(£2.50 ex VAT)
The black/green rubber seat:
33505-35020 - SEAT SUB ASSY, SHIFT LEVER
(£5.94 ex VAT)
Basically remove gearstick gaitor and remove the 'cap' surrounding the gearstick . This is a bayonet type fitting like a light bulb. Once removed the white bush is on the end of gearstick . The green/black bush sits under the gearstick in the housing . Pop the white bush off and replace , pick the green/black one out with a small screwdriver . Then refit all parts removed to gain access to gearstick.Last edited by Vagrant No2; 9 January 2008, 21:21.Rick...Member of 1st Gen club. ONE LIFE ... GET ONE !!
