    Hi Matey,
Are you sure it's coming from the wheel?
I am having this trouble at the moment and I think I have found out what it is.

Next cold morning don't put the heating/fan at full blast.

I've let it idle for 5 mins to warm up on low blow and the noise hasn't appeared. Don't know how to fix it tho. :o)
My Surf's a beauty but needs a turbo!!!

Sounds like you both have a slipping v-belt.

thanks for the replies .i dont think it is the heater motor on this ocasion
.........every peugeot i have owned has that problem.but the v belt sound promising. i have also noticed a slight vibration when this noise happens.i think it is a wheel bearing problem.....to tight ?to slack how do you service or adjust them.......................... ....
