found this interesting, http://www.coolingcomponents.co.uk/O...RCHNG_2004.pdf
can anyone confirm the part no for a toyota stat on a 2.4?
If it's 90916-03072 by a process of cross referencing and searching it seems that this stat was used by VW, Arrow, Chrysler, Daihatsu, Colt, Ford etc etc etc...
but what i found more interesting was the motorad part # 240-88 , if you look at all their part #s the suffix seems to be in the 75-96 range, incedentally the surf one has a suffix of 88 which i believe happens to be the temperature it opens at, so if there were to be one with a part# instead of 240-88 it had a lower suffix, say 240-82 would it be fair to say that the chances are it's gonna fit but open earlier?
I don't wanna get into the pro's and cons of a stat that opens earlier...
...yet? Just thinking out loud feel free to do the same.
