If I remember correctly, all you need to do is pop the caps off of the breathers with a screwdriver and push on some suitable size and length plastic or rubber hose and secure with a jubilee clip.

according to this http://www.toyotasurf.asn.au/techsite/diffbreathers.htm you need a 14mm spanner to remove the existing breather. If that's any help

Thanks Vince, but mine are internally corroded and externally foobared, if I was to put a jubillee on them they would probably colopse - I am hoping I can get some threaded hose adaptors and do it that way (as per the ausie site)

I gave Toyota that part number this morning, and asked them to confirm that it would fit my axle, gave frame & model no, and they came back with part no.90930-03031 at twice the price.

So will part no 90404-51319 fit my G285 LSD????

Was hoping to get kit fitted for Strata Florida on saturday.....just in case it's wet in Wales

                              90404-51319 = £3.50 ea

                              90930-03031 = £7.50 ea

                              Go figure.
