diesel filter/power loss

    It was a small shiny metal unit, made from pressed alloy with a pipe at each end. Unfortunately I can't get a good picture of it as it's hung down the bottom of the bulkhead amogst the gubbins, however I've found a picture on the net of something similar.. Not sure of the make, but it could be AC Delco.

      Some type numbers for inline filters like that design:

      Mann WK613
      Fiaam FT5207
      Fram G-6400

      Before anyone accuses me of being a really sad git, , I use a filter of that
      type in the Venture.

        I have not read all the posts but i have had the same problem and its the fillter inside the fuel tank.

            I did mine myself if you look under the back seat drivers side there is a plate I just removed this & then took the feed pipe to the engine (3 philips screwes i think) out and there is a white fillter fixed ot the end of it, (just clean it)mine was easy as it has a 4" body lift but i guess you will just have to drop your tank a few in", it took me about 30mins.
