  • Parts for Front Suspension.

Have decided to fit new rear shocks/springs/bushes and would like some advice as to which front suspension components to replace. I know ideally it would be best to replace everything, but, bearing in mind cost, which bits are the most important to replace?

    Thanks,

    Shab.

i would change the front shocks aswell as the rears. The torsion bars can just be cranked up a bit if they need it after doing the rear end.

Thanks. I thought I would have to get some front shocks but wasm't quite sure. [I'm new to all this Surf malarky].

Will I need any other bits while I'm at it?

        Cheers,

        Shab.

you may have to re-new the torsion bar bolts if you have to adjust them at all but if you dont have to adjust them then i personnally wont bother.Have a look over b4 you order anything and see if there is anything extra but for the shocks and springs then there ain't much to change.when you take off the adjustable shocks be sure to tape over the ends of the electrics so not to let any water in

if you have the switch then when it is pressed a green light will come on on the dash on the bottom right to let you know it's on the hard setting.unless the shocks have been changed be for after market ones then the switch won't work

here is some info for you when you do your shocks/springs
hope this is of some help for you

Does anyone have the full link for the shocks/spring replacement
bit on the above page? Run a non Windows system that Macromedia
don't supply a flash plugin for, so cannot access it from the above
                          page.

                          Cheers.

Cheers, Richard. That's the one. Running reliable O.S's can have
                              it's drawbacks, on occasion. Thanks.
