another thought, the back key switch is live 24/7 but the internal switch is only live when the ign is switched on.

be careful you dont cross the two together or you will have all sorts of fun

Have you the wiring diagram for the rear window as mine does not open from the rear door key switch only closes I can open it both ways from the switch in side, ...Have to open from inside so misses gets wet waiting for me to insert key and open door.

Have fitted a new relay box (from another member) today but no good

Got any more idea's?

GWYN - sounds like a broken wire, they break from the constant bending where they go from the body to the tailgate, either that or the keyswitch itself.

Thanks for the up date will have to circ. test the cables.... but as usual Sunday and rain they seem to go together or is it just my imagination? )

keep trying or download filezilla or something like that that'll keep trying till there's a slot available you will get a slot in the end.

Has a remote for opening the boot lock which can be wired to the back window. Also has loads of other functions. Seems a bargain at £30 but has loads of wires and relays to wire to get all the functions.
