  • Door sensor...

I've recently looked at the door sensor that i need, as the plastic peice on mine has broken off, so there's no pressure on the switch to enable to read that the doors open, and in turn-the interior wont light up when drivers door is open.

Upon closer inspection, i removed the metal peice that the plastic pressure switch sits inside, and the wire has fallen back into the metal door framing

Is there any way i can put anything inside to retreive this peice? thought of a coat hanger, or bendy wire of some sort... maybe a magnet of some sort??

    Help appreciated!!

    Joe.

(I managed to get the door sensor switch peice i need from 'supersurf', so just need to get the alocated wire from the door frame to fit it all)

Cant you just take plastic trim from around fuse box off and get at it that way?

I wasn't sure if the door frame was box section type?
