      I'm trying to find out if we can use a speedo healer on a surf. Manufacturer needs to know the wiring config.

        So you mean the speedo speed sensor. I thought you wanted the fuel pump sensor. I'll have to check on the speedo.

            Speedo thingos are available. If I could access the Aussie site I could probably find the info you need but it's been down for a few days and no idea when it will be back. Will have a search elsewhere.

              Here's some info -

              The Hall Effect VSS units can be identified as having 3 wires.

              The Inductive VSS units can be identified as having 2 wires.

              Some Vehicles fitted with 3-wire Hall Effect VSS's are as follows:

              Holden Commodore VN, VP manual and automatic models. VR and VS manual models.

              Rover Land Rover, Range Rover.

              Suzuki Jimny.

              Toyota Land Cruiser, Hilux, 4Runner, Surf.

              Some Vehicles fitted with 2-wire Inductive VSS's are as follows:

              Holden Commodore VR, VS automatic models. VT and VY manual and automatic models.

              Nissan GQ and GU Patrol manual and automatic models.
