Hi All,
I just got a new alarm/imob. fob for the Sub, and took ages trying to re-program the system yesterday lunch time*. At going home time, It wouldnt start due to virtually flat batteries. had to get a jump.
Is this normal?
When I went on hols last year, I got back to the airport to find a flat battery, didnt think of the alarm as the cause - perhaps it sucks life from batteries.
I might get a battery isolator so I can have one battery isolated if I go away, thus being able to start her up when I return.
Anyone else had this problem?
* My system wouldnt re-set because: Alarm info said to turn ignition key one place to dash lights, turn back one place, repeat to enter numbers. HOWEVER the Sub is a 2 click turn to get dash lights, so I did that, turn to dash lights, turn back one, turn to dash lights, turn back one etc. HOWEVER it seems you need to turn to dash lights, turn back to FULLY OFF, turn to dash lights etc.....
