  • Sad but sexy switch setup

Well, finally got my eighteen switch, (full size toggle), fitted in the
space left by the radio unit in the dash, and a sixteen relay board
in the back. Low current, 5A relays, but allows for minimising
cabling to front whilst allowing the relays to switch higher current
relays for any larger requirements. If I can get the camera working,
will post some pics. Yes, I know I'm sad, but full size toggle switches
    do look sexy.

Tell me what's in your shed, and I'll say what the switches are for.
            .
            .
            .
            .
Far two passenger side are rear reversing spots and foglamps, far
two drivers side are for the front spots and fogs, (when I get them on),
and the rest are gonna be for all the gizmo's and ideas I can find on
the forum. The relay panel in the back is wired up for left eight
relays to passenger side eight switches in front, right side eight relays
for any gizmo's needing localised switching from the back.
            .
            .
            .
God, I'm sad. Really gonna have to get out more.

certainly individual... shame there was no room for the resistor and Maplin only had green paint!...

what's the birdbox do?... wouldn't that stuff fit behind a trim panel?
nee nar nee nar, i'm a fire engine!

"Only had green paint"! That's finest smooth Hammerite.
('Twas the only paint I had to hand).

                              Maplin..... , errrrm.......... , NO.

With regards to the resistor, it's there until:
                              1) I decide what value I want to stick with.
                              2) I get each LED on it's own resistor, instead of using a limiting ground.

                              Hmmmmm, let me think.

Trim panel = Disassembly and skinned knuckles + worklamp
                              + contortionism.

Box = Open rear door and lower, sit down, open box.

Wonder why I picked the box option.
